Pauline Ledford Hollifield

Pauline Ledford Hollifield, age 99, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Deer Park Health and Rehab.

Pauline was born on September 18, 1927, and was the daughter of the late Green Ledford and Essie Street Ledford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wesley Davis; her second husband, Virgil Hollifield; three children, Aurther Davis, Debbie Roland, and Douglas Finley; ten brothers; and three grandchildren.

Pauline found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She especially enjoyed dancing, attending church, and spending time reading her Bible. Her family meant the world to her, and she treasured every opportunity to gather with her loved ones. Some of her happiest moments were spent surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose love brought her much happiness throughout her life.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Nancy Smith; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will forever hold dear the memories they shared with her.

A funeral service in honor of Pauline's life will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service, with Rev. Greg Alderman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
