Patrick Richard Walsh, Sr.

Patrick Richard Walsh, Sr., age 80, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at McDowell Assisted Living in Marion.  The son of the late Patrick Martin Walsh and Margaret Dorst Walsh, he was born in Yonkers, New York on March 16, 1939.  Patrick was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Walsh; and one grandson, Tim Faulkner.

A proud veteran of the United States Army, he was a loving husband and father; and had a lifelong career in music where he enjoyed playing multiple instruments.    He was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton in Shrub Oak, New York.

He is survived by one daughter, Cathy Walsh; two sons, Patrick Walsh and Tim Walsh; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In keeping with Patrick’s wishes, a private celebration of his life will be held at a later date in New York.
