Patricia “Trisha” Branch Phillips

Patricia “Trisha” Branch Phillips of Marion passed away on September 24, 2026. Trisha spent her life loving her family and making sure the people around her felt cared for, supported, and loved.

Trisha was small in stature, but the love she carried for her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and family was anything but small. Her love was unmatched, and she gave it freely and wholeheartedly. To the children in her life, she was undeniably and unapologetically Mom and Aunt Trish.

She was a mother who made sure she was present for the moments that mattered. Trisha often worked third shift so that she could be there to cheer from the sidelines at every sports game her children played. No matter how tired she was or what she had to rearrange, being there for her family was never a question. She showed her love not only through words, but through her presence, her sacrifice, and the countless ways she cared for those around her.

Trisha’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by husband, James Phillips; her children, Seth Branch and his wife, Kristin Branch; Lacey Branch; and Dalton Phillips and his wife, Miria; and her grandchildren, Sophiea, Braylin, Kessie, Landon, and Laurel. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Norman Branch, Sherri Waycaster, Carolyn Brunelle and her husband, Bob, and Mary Lewis and her husband, John. Trisha was a devoted aunt to her numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved as though they were her own children. Her role as “Aunt Trish” was one she embraced wholeheartedly, and countless children were blessed by her love, encouragement, and unwavering presence in their lives.

Trisha was preceded in death by her father, Burl Branch; her mother, Nancy Cuthbertson Branch.

Trisha’s legacy is found in the people she loved and the lives she touched. She was the person who showed up, who cheered the loudest, who made sure everyone was taken care of, and who loved without reservation. Her family will forever carry the memories of her laughter, her strength, her devotion, and the immeasurable love she gave so freely. Though she may no longer be sitting in the stands cheering them on, the love she poured into her family will continue to surround them. She will always be Mom Trish, Aunt Trish, and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 28, 2026, in the Beam Funeral Service Chapel. Rev. Denny Wilson and Mr. Bobby Dobson will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Snow Hill Cemetery in Turkey Cove.

Her family will cherish her memory and carry her love with them always.
