Patricia Ann Michales Taylor, born on February 4, 1941, in Buncombe County, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, at the age of 84. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished sister, and grandmother who brought joy and warmth to those fortunate enough to be part of her life.
Patricia was married to Robert Taylor for an incredible 63 years. She is survived by her sons Curtis Taylor (Susan), Robby Taylor (Sherry), Seth Taylor (Sarah), along with her daughters Kim Plemmons (Dennis), Brittany Taylor, and Connie Wyatt along with sister Nyoka Limeberry. Patricia also leaves behind an extensive legacy of family, including 22 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her spirit and values.
Patricia enjoyed nurturing her houseplants and took immense joy in reminiscing through family photographs, always relishing the moments shared. Cooking was one of her greatest passions; she loved preparing meals for her family, creating not just food but memorable experiences around the dining table. Patricia was known for her caring nature.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Michales and Bonita Case Michales, and her siblings, J.B. Michales and Tommy Michales.
A Graveside service honoring Patricia’s remarkable life will be held on September 19, 2025, beginning at 3:00 PM at The Taylor Family Cemetery at 241 Chinquapin Trail in Old Fort, with Rev. Joe Frohbose officiating the service.
