Pamela Gay Richards

Pamela Gay Richards, age 69, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on December 28, 2025, in Marion, NC. She was born on October 12, 1956, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Pamela was the beloved wife of Vernon Richards and a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a heart of gold and was always ready to give, often putting the needs of others before her own. Feisty in spirit and strong in heart, Pamela was deeply loved and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband, Vernon Richards; her children Carla Tompkins (daughter) and son-in-law Cameron Tompkins, and their children Destiny Finn, Trey Beverly, and Tobias Finn; Kristina Blanton (daughter) and son-in-law Dustin Blanton, and their children Zeke Blanton and Brannon Blanton; and Stephen Richards (son), and his daughters Leslie Richards, Bailey Richards, and Madison Richards. She is also survived by her sister, Theresa DiGiorgi.

Pamela dedicated many years of her working life to Columbia Forest Products, where she was known for her strong work ethic and dependability. She later continued her career with the State of North Carolina at the Department of Corrections, where she served until her retirement.

Pamela was preceded in death by her father Charles Robert Foreman, her mother Verna Foreman, and her brothers Carlos Foreman and Robbie Foreman.
