Norma Faith Stroud

On the morning of Sunday, April 25, 2021, Mrs. Norma Queen Stroud departed this life peacefully at her residence with her family by her side.

She was born in Buncombe County on October 12, 1946 to the late Roy Frank Queen and Hope McMahan Queen.

Norma loved the Lord and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Her family, especially her grandchildren, had a special place in her heart. Norma had a wicked sense of humor. She proudly drove a school bus for McDowell County Schools.

Those left to cherish her precious memories are her three daughters, Teresa Ennis, Robin Crawley (Lamar), and Amy Stroud; four grandchildren, Keenan Stroud, Noah Stroud, Wesley Rymer, and Faith Rymer; one great grandchild, Bellah Stroud; three sisters, Joy Q. Shuford, Glenna Q. McKinney (Ralph), and Kayren Q Myers (Walter); and several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned at this time.
