Nancy Jo Good Ledbetter

Nancy Jo Good Ledbetter, 62, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at UNC Health Blue Ridge.

She was born on September 03, 1959 to Kathleen Lowery Good and the late George Good.

Nancy enjoyed gardening and working with her flowers and shrubs. She liked playing volleyball with friends as well as being an avid sports mom for her sons throughout their school years. She often visited yard sales and thrift stores. She received joy by simply sitting by the river enjoying the beauty of nature. Nancy’s best friend was her dog, Zeppelin, who became an even closer companion in the recent years of her illness.

She is also preceded in death by three siblings, Archie Good, Janie Packett, and Sandra Mason.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Carroll Ledbetter; two sons, Harley Freshour (Vickie) and Skylar Ledbetter; one grandchild, Harley Freshour II; and one brother, Richard Good (Joanne).

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service. A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date.
