Nancy Ann Davis, a beloved member of the Marion community, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, at Autumn Care of Marion. Born on November 22, 1933, in Burke County, NC, Nancy lived a life marked by devotion, hard work, and love.
Nancy was widely known for her exceptional gardening skills and her passion for cultivating flowers, a hobby that brought her immense joy throughout her life. She was also an avid quilter, cherished by those who admired her beautiful handiwork. Beyond her talents, Nancy was recognized as a hard worker and a skilled cook. Her deep faith was a cornerstone of her life, demonstrated by her membership at Emanuel Free Will Baptist Church.
Nancy’s legacy is carried on by her devoted family, who were the center of her life. She is survived by her daughters: Margaret Davis Branton, Betty Davis McKinney and her husband Jerry, Mary Ellen Davis Lowdermilk and her husband Don, and Linda Davis Webb and her husband Harold. Nancy was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren, a loving great-grandmother to eighteen great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandmother to five great-great-grandchildren.
Services to honor Mrs. Davis will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory located at 2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752. A visitation will occur from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Reverends Paul White, Dean Owenby and Harold Webb officiating. Interment will follow at the Rocky Pass Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
Nancy Ann Davis’s life was a testament to steadfast love, joyful creativity, and unwavering faith. Through her dedication to her family and community, she touched many hearts and leaves a lasting imprint on all who knew her. Her memory will continue to be a blessing to those who loved her and a beacon of inspiration for future generations.
