Nancy Bolick

Nancy Herman Bolick, age 70, of Marion, North Carolina passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side. A native of Alexander County, Nancy was born on May 19, 1949 to the late Robert and Janie Davis Herman.

Nancy was known as a wonderful cook and avid shopper. She loved her coffee and donuts, but mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her great-granddaughter.

Nancy is survived by one son, Mark Rockette; four siblings, Ann Anderson, Linda Herman, Terry Herman (Barbara) and Gary Herman (Jennifer); one granddaughter, Tara Rockette (Justin Johnson); one great-granddaughter, Blakely Johnson and her loving companion, John “Fox” Herndon.

A service for Nancy will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Reverend Mickey Moree officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
