Moises Baez Avalos

Moises Baez Avalos, age 53, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Born on October 4, 1972, he was the son of Deltino Baez and the late Paula Avalos Baez.

Moises worked at painters greenhouse. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hiking and kayaking. He was also known for enjoying a good cup of black coffee.

In addition to his father, those left to cherish his memory are his children, Amy Baez-Yanez, Eric Baez-Yanez, Ivan Baez-Yanez, and Yesenia Yanez; three brothers, Diego Baez, Tono Baez, and Jose Baez; and four sisters, Yolanda Baez, Victoria Baez, Catalina Baez, and Erlinda Baez.

A gathering of friends will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at the Beam Celebration Center 2170 Rutherford Rd. Marion NC 28752 from 11:00 - 1:00. Following the gathering the burial will be held at Murphys Chapel Cemetery.

Moisés Báez Ávalos, de 53 años, falleció en paz en su residencia el jueves 13 de agosto de 2026.

Nacido el 4 de octubre de 1972, era hijo de Deltino Báez y de la difunta Paula Ávalos Báez.

Moisés trabajaba en un invernadero de pintores. Disfrutaba pasar tiempo al aire libre, especialmente haciendo senderismo y kayak. También era conocido por disfrutar de una buena taza de café negro.

Además de su padre, le sobreviven sus hijos, Amy Báez-Yáñez, Eric Báez-Yáñez, Iván Báez-Yáñez y Yesenia Yáñez; tres hermanos, Diego Báez, Tono Báez y José Báez; y cuatro hermanas, Yolanda Báez, Victoria Báez, Catalina Báez y Erlinda Báez.

Se realizará una reunión de amigos el domingo 16 de agosto de 2026 en el Beam Celebration Center  11:00 - 1:00 , ubicado en 2170 Rutherford Rd. Marion, Carolina del Norte 28752. Tras la reunión, se llevará a cabo el entierro en el cementerio Murphys Chapel.
