Mingus Paul Beddingfield

Mingus Paul Beddingfield, age 39, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on the night of Wednesday, September 04, 2019 at Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation in Nebo, following a 4-year battle with a heart disease.  Born in Buncombe County, North Carolina on October 13, 1979, he was the son of Linda Beddingfield Schultz of Marion. 

A model car enthusiast and a fan of NASCAR, Mingus enjoyed fishing and loved taking his riding lawn mower and helping out by mowing a neighbor’s yard.  While attending McDowell High School, Mingus proudly served on the NJROTC. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Crystal Marie Schultz; one niece, Chloe Dawn Marie Higgins; one nephew, Mack Oliver Wilson IV; uncle and aunt, Robert and Tammy Beddingfield; aunt, Diane Sanchez; cousin, Nicholas Beddingfield; along with numerous other cousins.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
