Middleton Darnell Miles

Middleton Darnell Miles, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on September 29, 2025, at Frye Hospital. He was born on November 17, 1961, in Wilmington, North Carolina.

He found joy in listening to country music, which often served as the backdrop to his cherished moments with family and friends. A cold Pepsi in hand and a warm smile on his face, he spent countless hours creating memories that will be treasured by those who knew him.

Middleton loved the Lord and held deep affection for his family. He took great pride in his role as a father for his daughters, Ashley and Brandy Miles. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Scarlett Yarborough; and sisters, Cheryl and Angie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Miles and Hazel Miles.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
