Mickey Ray Miller

Mickey Ray Miller, 76, of Marion, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

Mickey was born in McDowell County to the late Teleta Miller on July 1, 1945. Mickey was a retired carpenter. He loved to work in his garden and was a farmer for many years. Some of his favorite hobbies were playing cards and enjoying a Budwieser. He especially loved his dog “Baby Girl”. Mickey will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.

Those left to cherish his memory are two children, Lynn Kendall and Lisa K. Cates (Walt Sluder); a sister Coleen Davis; three grandchildren, Tiffany Cadwell (Tim), Jaclyn Clark (Byron) and Eva Michelle Bailey and six great grandchildren, Ethan Scarborough, Emma Scarborough, Natalya Shaffner, Laettner Clark, Calli Webb and Starlynn Bailey.
