Michael Edward Seay

Michael Edward Seay, 52, of Nebo, passed away Friday, September 4, 2026 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born on January 31, 1974 in McDowell County to Loretta Irene Hall Paquin and the late Jerry Lee Seay.

Michael was employed as a security guard. He was a beloved and cherished member of Nealsville Church of God where he was very active. He always had a bright smile and kind word to share, and his presence at the church will be deeply missed. Michael, who was always active in the community, had a heart for others and would do anything to help out. He enjoyed hunting in former years, and more recently spent his free time visiting flea markets with his mother.

He is survived by his mother, Loretta Paquin; his twin sister, Angela Lynn Seay (Jeremy Peterson); and a host of beloved friends and church family whose lives he touched.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the Beam Celebration Center. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. and will be officiated by Pastors Kevin Norton, Eddie Brewer, Ralph Reep, and Walter Pegues.
