Michael Keith "Bubba" Hicks

Michael Keith “Bubba” Hicks, 56, of Marion, passed away at The McDowell Hospital on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

Bubba was born in Marion to Alfred Hicks and Linda Hollifield Hicks.  He was known as a talker with a great sense of humor and was a huge KISS fan. Bubba enjoyed putting together and painting model cars. He will be missed by his many friends and family.

Preceding Bubba in death is his brother, Michael Ledford Hicks.

He is survived by two children, Cassandra Hicks and Keith Harris (Stephany); his siblings, Steve Hicks (Summer), Tina Matthews (Tony), Kristen Hicks (Charlie Johnson), Danielle Hicks and Drew Hicks; a granddaughter, Peyton Harris along with eight nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 4, 2023 in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Burial will take place at Murphy's Chapel following receiving of friends.
