Melvin H. Smith, age 68, of Jonas Ridge, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 08, 2021 at Jonas Ridge Adult Care Facility. Born in York, South Carolina on July 31, 1952, he was the son of the late Chester and Lillie Walker Smith.
He is survived by four children, Carrie Ann Dolin (Gary), Christy Shook, Scottie Smith (Mauri) and Melinda Smith.
A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Maiden Town Hall, Room 19, in Maiden, North Carolina. A gathering of family and friends will follow the service.
