October 15, 1992 — February 14, 2017
Meagan Leigh McClung, age 24, of Asheville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. A native of Chesapeake, Virginia, born October 15, 1992, she was the daughter of John McClung and Bonita Irwin.
A loving mother, daughter and sister, Meagan was a talented artist who enjoyed all types of artwork.
She is survived by her parents, John McClung (Jaileen) and Bonita Irwin; one daughter, Maddie Leigh Wolhart; two brothers, Mason McClung and Peyton Nicholson; maternal grandmother, Jenny Taylor; and paternal grandmother, Julie McClung.
A celebration of Meagan’s life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at New Manna Baptist Church in Marion with Pastor Matt McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.
