Max "Henry" Lewis

Max “Henry” Lewis, 76, of Marion, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026 at his residence.

A native of Marion, he was born May 12, 1950 to the late Pink Falls Lewis and Edna Marie Arrowood Lewis.

Henry worked in the sheet metal industry for most of his life. He was a talented handyman who enjoyed working with his hands. Henry loved his 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle that he took great pride in for a number of years. Whether on the lake or at the beach, being on the water was his favorite place to be. He will be missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Roy Lewis, John Lewis, Pink Falls “Junior” Lewis, and Virginia Guffey.

He is survived by his daughter, Tonia Lewis Bartlett (Fabian); two step-children, Kimberly Pritchard-Creedle and Kevin Gordon Elliott; four grandchildren, Kayla Bartlett Neagle (Sam), Amber Bartlett Delorme (Cody), Matthew Bartlett, and Christopher Pritchard; and four siblings, Lou Ledwell, Michael Lewis, Carolyn Duncan, and Marie Lewis.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service. A service in celebration of his life will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
