Jeff and Shaun, I just happened today (July 9th) upon the news of your mom's passing. Michelle and I left the US for Uganda on June 6th. Not sure when we will be able to return. I very much enjoyed seeing the photos in the video from your home where I visited when we were teens. I remember your mom giving me a smile, Shaun watching Mr. Rogers' neighborhood, and your mom cooking in the evenings especially in the summertime. She had such a heart for Shaun. I remember her driving us (Jeff and I) to the movies, too. I cherish her memory and those memories growing up. Much love to you both in Jesus.

Jeff and Shaun, I remember your mother very well though I hadnt seen her for decades. I will always remember her beaming smile and her constant kindness.

You are both very blessed to have had such a wonderful mother and I will pray for comfort for both of you.

Matthew and Charles . In the days of Brother David as pastor of old white oak church in Yancey county, I attended that church as a teenager. I spent some time with Mary and also spent a couple of weekends with Mary . You may not remember me but I cherish the sweet memories I have . I am so sorry to know of Mary's departure but, I am sure she is in heaven and rejoicing with Jesus and the family members who are there. May God comfort all of you and know I really cared about your family.
