Mary Lou Cox

Mary Lou Carrier Cox, age 66, of the North Cove Community, passed away at her residence on Sunday, October 8, 2017.  Born in Bristol, Tennessee on December 18, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Dorothy Hopkins Carrier. 

Mary was known as a free-spirited lady who loved life.  She enjoyed working in her garden.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Harold Cox.

She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Mace (Sean); one son, Jesse Cox, both of Marion; two sisters, Carolyn Bartley (Kenneth) and Shirley Rhea; one brother, Allen Carrier; six grandchildren, Christina Mace, Alexis Mace, Rustyn Mace, Tobias Hill, Aiden Cox and Olivia Cox; one great granddaughter and one great grandson on the way.
