Dennis Record

     Marmon “Dennis” Record, 78, of Marion, NC, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville.

     Dennis was born in Pinellas County, Florida on September 17, 1943, to the late Willis Thomas Record and Corine Pinder Record Meckner. He was married to Dorisann Havlick Record. Dennis loved the ocean and loved to fish. Prior to retiring to Marion, NC, he owned and operated a seafood store in Sebastian, FL. Dennis was a kind hearted optimist who loved everyone. He will be greatly missed.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Dorisann Record of Marion; three daughters, Lisa Record of St. Paul, Minnesota, Davin Record (Dave) of Jupiter, Florida, and Dylan DeForest (Lou) of Fallsbrook, California; a sister, Teresa Hayes (Joe) of Jupiter; two grandchildren, Kai and Kirra DeForest of Fallsbrook; and his mother-in-law, Doris Havlick of Black Mountain.

     A memorial service will be held at a later date.
