Markus Lee Stevens

Markus Lee Stevens, age 44, of Marion, North Carolina passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 2, 2018 at his home. A native of McDowell County, Mark was born on May 14, 1973 to Freddy and Joyce Johnson Stevens.

Mark was a 1992 graduate of McDowell High School. He was an avid coin collector and loved fishing. He was a loving son, brother and father and will be missed by all that knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Derek Lee Stevens; one brother, Scot Stevens (Debra); one sister, Amy Vaughn; and two nieces, Chloe and Emma Vaughn.

A private service will be held at Beam Funeral Service.
