Mark David Foster

Mark David Foster, 61, of Statesville, passed away June 11, 2024.

He was born in McDowell County on July 24, 1962 to the late George J. Foster and Mildred "Iva" Mills. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and playing video games. He loved taking rides in the country and will be remembered as a fixer of all things.

He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Foster; and two brothers, Christopher Foster and Anthony George Foster.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Ruth Barr Foster; four sons, Bobby Estes, Jonathan Flouton, Mark Foster, Jr., and Raymond Foster; three daughters, Barbara Ann Waugh, Laura Beth Ayers, and Chelsea Ellen Foster; fifteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

No services will be held.
