Maria De La Luz Ambrocio Guerrero

Maria De La Luz Ambrocio Guerrero, 65, of Marion, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.

She was born on September 1, 1959 in Cheran Michoacan, Mexico. She formerly worked at Baxter Healthcare. She loved animals, especially her pet chickens, and she enjoyed gardening and crocheting in her free time. Maria’s family was her world, and her grandchildren made her life very special. It did her heart good to cook big meals for her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gonzalo Ambrocio.

She is survived by her mother, Juana Guerrero; eleven children, Antonio Juarez (Guadalupe), Francisca Juarez, Guadalupe Juarez (Jose), Teresa Juarez, Alicia Juarez (Luis), Ramiro Juarez (Carmen), Raul Juarez (Kathy), Cecilia Juarez (David), Martha Juarez (Alfredo), Rosa Juarez (Jose), and Santiago Juarez; a special brother, Ismael Ambrocio; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Beam Celebration Center.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Beam Celebration Center. Burial will follow at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.

María De La Luz Ambrocio Guerrero, de 65 años, de Marion, falleció el lunes 16 de junio de 2025 en Mission Hospital en Asheville.

Nació el 1 de septiembre de 1959 en Cherán, Michoacán, México. Anteriormente trabajó en Baxter Healthcare. Amaba a los animales, especialmente a sus gallinas, y disfrutaba de la jardinería y el tejer en su tiempo libre. Su familia era su mundo, y sus nietos hacían su vida muy especial. Cocinar comidas abundantes para su familia le hacían bien y se alegraba de hacerlo.

Le precedió en la muerte su padre, Gonzalo Ambrocio.

Le sobreviven su madre, Juana Guerrero; once hijos, Antonio Juárez (Guadalupe), Francisca Juárez, Guadalupe Juárez (José), Teresa Juárez, Alicia Juárez (Luis), Ramiro Juárez (Carmen), Raúl Juárez (Kathy), Cecilia Juárez (David), Martha Juárez (Alfredo), Rosa Juárez (José) y Santiago Juárez; 5 hermanos; y muchos nietos y bisnietos.

La visita de cuerpo se llevará a cabo el miércoles 18 de junio de 2025 desde las 5:00 p.m. hasta las 7:00 p.m. en Beam Celebration Center.

Se celebrará la misa el jueves 19 de junio de 2025 a la 1:00 p m. en Beam Celebration Center. Posteriormente, el entierro se realizará en el cementerio Murphy's Chapel.
