Lynn Carolyn Robinson

Lynn Carolyn Robinson, 72, of Marion, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.

She was born in McDowell County on November 2, 1951 to the late Raymond and Gladys Robinson. Lynn was a longtime member of Garden Creek Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a very loving and giving person who loved the Lord with all her heart. Lynn enjoyed watching television and was an avid UNC Tarheel fan.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sons, Chad McCarthy and Brent McCarthy.

Left to cherish her memory are her three grandchildren, Brittney McCarthy, Austin McCarthy, and Chad McCarthy.

The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Dan White will officiate the service.
