Lynda Alane Proctor Johnston

Lynda Alane Proctor Johnston, 55, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Savannah, Georgia on October 02, 1966 to the late Bennie Proctor and Dixie McKinney Proctor.

Lynda worked as an accountant, and she will be remembered as a loving mother and sister. She was a member of Clinchfield Baptist Church. Lynda enjoyed serving her God and church which included the CARE ministry, singing in the choir and vacation bible school. She also loved spending time with family and friends while at the lake or camping. 

She is survived by her son, Anthony Johnston (Tayler); and two sisters, Laura Haseltine (Ben) and Leah Pratt (Michael).

The family will host a gathering on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Beam Funeral Service from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. and all friends are encouraged to attend.
