Lorraine Brittian

     Lorraine Juliana Swatlowski Brittian, 90, of Morganton, NC, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

     Lorraine was born in Ardoch, North Dakota on September 1, 1933, to the late Steve Swatlowski and Mary Korynta Swatlowski. She was married to the late Everett Brittian, her husband of 53 years.

     In addition to her husband and parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by three sisters, Irene Nelson, Delphine Heath, and Dorothy Grandboise; and two brothers, Duane Swatlowski and Ernest Swatlowski.

     Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Steve Brittian, Mark Brittian, and Timothy Brittian & wife Renee; two brothers, Richie Swatlowski and Harold Swatlowski & wife Mildred; four grandchildren, Connor, Taylor, Emmaline, and Rosa; and six great grandchildren.

     A service of remembrance will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Linville United Methodist Church with Rev. Jan Brittain officiating.
