Linda Kay Stott, born January 24, 1953, peacefully passed away on May 7, 2026. She will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her career, having devoted over 35 years of service to Sears. Her commitment to her work was a testament to her strong character and enduring work ethic.
Throughout her life, Linda found joy in simple pleasures that painted her days with fond memories. In her younger years, she delighted in visits to Dollywood and the Biltmore House—trips that reflected her love of exploration and appreciation of history and entertainment.
Linda is lovingly survived by her daughter, Angela Stott Crawford, and her husband Jonathan, as well as her granddaughter, Payton Crawford. Together, they carry forward her legacy of love and resilience.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Ellen Roper, and her parents, James Gilford Roper and Geneva Barker Roper. Their memories remain cherished by all who knew Linda.
A memorial service to honor Linda’s life will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., in the chapel of Beam Funeral Service with the Reverend Jonathan Crawford officiating.
Linda Kay Stott’s life was marked by steadfast devotion to those she loved and the work she took pride in. She will be deeply missed, yet fondly remembered by family and friends alike for her kind spirit and enduring warmth.
