Linda Carol Lowery Buchanan

Linda Carol Lowery Buchanan, 77, of Old Fort, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at her daughter’s residence.

She was born August 03, 1944 to the late Kay Stevens Lowery.

Linda was a very sassy lady who was not afraid to speak her mind. A member of Living Waters Tabernacle, Linda enjoyed attending church. Her grandchildren made her happy and she loved them very much. She spent her free time working puzzle books, and she also enjoyed playing the lottery. Linda, along with her husband Dennis, faithfully watched NASCAR every Sunday afternoon. She was a fan of Bill Elliott.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Buchanan, who passed away one month prior; one son, James Morgan; and a brother, Jack Stevens.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Morgan (Ronnie); her grandchildren, Brandon (Megan) and Brittany Stackable; and three brothers, Ronald Lowery, Dennie Lowery, and Randy Lowery.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. at Living Waters Tabernacle. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 4:30 p.m. Interment will follow at the Buchanan Family Cemetery.
