Lewis J. Scott
January 7, 1952 — September 22, 2024
Lewis J. Scott, 72, formerly of Caldwell County, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Smoky Ridge Health & Rehabilitation.
He was born in Granite Falls on January 7, 1952 to the late Sam Evans Scott and Emma Jean Henderson Scott. Lewis was a very kind soul who loved to laugh. He loved music, but he loved the Lord more than anything. He was always sure to carry his Bible everywhere he went. He touched many hearts and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by three siblings, Janet Scott Longcrier, James Scott, and Betty Scott.
He is survived by two sisters, Virginia Scott Glass of Granite Falls and Helen Scott of California; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Murphy's Chapel Cemetery.
