Laura Ann Robinette Hall

Laura Ann Robinette Hall, 81, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023 at her home.

A native of Marion, Laura was born November 8, 1941 to the late John Harold Robinette and Sallie Owensby Robinette.

After a career in local mills, Laura worked in several restaurants as a cook. She truly enjoyed feeding people both in her home and through her work. She had a heart for children of all ages. Laura was a great caregiver for children, and she was known to spoil them. Her family meant the world to her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Michael Todd Campbell; and four siblings, Jack Owensby, Dorothy Owensby, Evelyn Southerland, and Jone Penley.

She is survived by three children, Mark Campbell, Jeffrey Scott Campbell, and Lillie Hollifield (John); four grandchildren, Tanner Campbell, John Allen Hollifield, Caleb Hollifield, and Hunter Campbell; four great grandchildren; eight siblings, Linda Lou Lewis, Nadean Penland, John Robinette, Joe Robinette, Jewel Robinette, Jimmy Robinette, Jerry Robinette, and Angel Robinette; and numerous nieces and nephews many of which she helped raised and loved dearly.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service.
