In Loving Memory of Krystal Dawn Jackson
Krystal Jackson passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 38. Her unexpected passing leaves a tremendous loss in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Krystal was born on October 18, 1987 in Marion, NC to Joe and Bonnie Hicks. She spent her life caring about her family, cooking, taking care of her animals, feeding her birds and her deer, and as she states “being a best friend and bonus mom to Jordyn.”
Krystal will be remembered for her strength, sense of humor, kindness, determination, love for others. She loved the color purple, she loved her dog Rambo, cooking, making other people comfortable, and she loved her mama, daddy and her sisters; but above all, she cherished her family and God
Those who knew Krystal will remember her smile, her laugh, her voice, her touch and how loving and soothing she was. Her personality lit up a room. She was sunshine on a rainy day. And the stars will shine brighter now that she’s up there. Her presence touched the lives of many, and the memories created with her will continue to be treasured by those she leaves behind.
Krystal is survived by her husband Jeremey Jackson; her daughter Jordyn; her parents Joe Hicks; sisters, Jessica Hicks and Rebecca Hicks and her aunt and uncle Bob and Debbie Hicks.
She was preceded in death by her mother Bonnie Hicks (1957-2022).
Though Krystal’s life ended far too soon, the love she gave, the memories she created, and the impact she had on the people around her will remain. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 3:00 pm at Beam Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 pm prior to the service.
Forever loved. Forever remembered.
