Kim Dawn Tucker

Kim Dawn Thomas Tucker, 38, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.

She was born in McDowell County on February 10, 1987 to Ricky Allen Thomas, Sr. and the late Lori Jean Seaman Thomas. A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Kim loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed baking and drawing. She was very talented at drawing. She will be missed.

In addition to her father, Ricky Thomas, she is survived by her husband, Chris Tucker; four children, Nick Lowery, Alexis Lowery, Josh Wilkins, and Sarah Hollifield; three siblings, Ricky Thomas, Jr., Leslie Jones, and Mary Silvers (Greg); special aunt, Wanda Martin; her father and mother-in-law, Mike and Darlene Tucker; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service. A service in remembrance of Kim’s life will begin at 2:00 p.m. and will be officiated by Rev. Marvin Riddle and Mrs. Joyce Davis.
