Kendra Lynn Wiest

Kendra Lynn Wiest, 37, of Morganton, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026.

She was born in Burke County on March 4, 1989. Kendra will be remembered for always being considerate of others. She would go out of her way to help others and ease their burdens. She loved butterflies and was a fan of Duke sports. Kendra had a unique sense of humor that will be cherished by her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice Gail Edwards Wiest, and her step-father, Robbie Giles.

She is survived by her son, Phillip; three siblings, Crystal Grider (Joshua), Michael Wiest, II (Regina), and Paul William Wiest (Ashley); her father, Michael Wiest; and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service.
