Kelly Joe Pittman

Kelly Joe Pittman, age 50, of Marion, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at his residence with his loving family by his side. A native of McDowell County, Kelly was born on October 4, 1968 to Samuel Pittman and the late Nancy Jean Johnson Pittman.

Kelly was an avid Nascar fan and a hardworking man who loved his family. He was a loving husband, son, father and brother and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his father Samuel, Kelly is survived by his wife, Jamie Pittman; one son, Joseph Ryan Pittman; four siblings, George Johnson (Dawn), Vicki Brown (Paul), Lori Pittman and Shannon Pittman and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Yancey Street Baptist Church with Reverend Dean Owenby officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service at the church.
