Kelly Lee Edna Loftin-Ryder

     Kelly Lee Edna Loftin-Ryder, 62, of Old Fort, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at her residence.

     Kelly was born in Buncombe County, NC, on July 16, 1963, to the late Rudolph George Loftin and Wilma Mae Aston Loftin. She was married to the late Edward “Eddie” Ryder, who passed away in 2017. Kelly was artistic and enjoyed drawing and coloring. She was a Christian who loved reading her bible. She will always be loved and remembered.

     In addition to her husband and parents, Kelly was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Wright and Crystal Millsap.

     She is survived by eight sisters and three brothers.

     A memorial service will be held at a later date.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
