Kathy Lynn Jenkins

Mrs. Kathy Smith Jenkins age 74, of Marion, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026. She was born on August, 5, 1952 in McDowell county to the late Luther Smith and Ruby Buchanan Thomas. Kathy was preceded in death by her brother Kenny Smith.

She was known as a loving mother and grandmother. Kathy was an avid bible reader and enjoyed shopping on QVC. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Survivors include her two sons, Christopher David Jenkins and wife Valerie and Rusty Jenkins; one sister Jean Burleson and three grandchildren, Baylee, Druw and Brady. 

In keeping with her wishes no services will be held.
