Junior Alonzo McHone III

Junior Alonzo McHone III, age 51, of Asheville, North Carolina, passed away from injuries he sustained as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Friday, August 14, 2020.  A native of Asheville, North Carolina, he was born on February 09, 1969 and was the son of the late Alonzo McHone II and Frances Maltry McHone.  

In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Baldwin.

Junior had a love for older music, and at an early age he enjoyed writing songs. 

He is survived by five children, Junior Alonzo McHone IV of Asheville, Casey McHone of Asheville, Austin McHone of Statesville, Megan McHone of Statesville and Jasmine Vea of Statesville; two brothers, Danny Sprinkle of Hickory and David McHone of Asheville; one sister, Deborah Edwards of Asheville; several grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the family will have a private celebration of his life at a later date.
