Julius Ronald "Ron" Hollifield

Julius Ronald “Ron” Hollifield, 48, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, May 07, 2022 at his residence.

He was born in Kings Mountain, North Carolina on August 01, 1973 to the late Julius Reuben Hollifield and Melba Williams Hollifield.

Ron worked in furniture and textiles most of his life. He enjoyed the beauty of nature and had a heart for animals, especially dogs. He was a very family-oriented man who will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Deidre Duncan Hollifield; three sons, Joey Duncan (Kennedy), Allen Edwards (Jessica), and another son of Gastonia; two brothers and one sister all of Marion; and two special nephews.

A private service for the family will be held at a later date.
