Juliette "Julie" Ricketts Lipe

Juliette “Julie” Ricketts Lipe, 91, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Grace Heights. She was born December 24, 1931.

Julie was formerly employed at Ethan Allen. She was a very outgoing, sweet, and loving lady who was special to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Julie was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, and she enjoyed attending yard sales and camping. Her canine companion, Buddy, was very special to her.

Her husband, George Gilbert Lipe, precedes her in death as well as her brothers, Rudy Ricketts and Buddy Ricketts.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two children, Freddy Ricketts (Shanon) and Jill Locke (James); and two grandchildren, Brittany Pitts (Todd) and Megan Lawing (Brandon).

The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Catawba Heights Baptist Church with Pastor James Walker officiating.
