Judy Carolyn Logan

Judy Carolyn Logan, 75, of Old Fort, passed away at Autumn Care of Marion on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

Judy was born on September 1, 1951, in McDowell County. She is preceded in death by her beloved Luther Logan, her sister Margaret Bean Grindstaff, and her parents, Ralph and Ruth Knupp Bean.

She enjoyed doing crafts and had a special talent for making jewelry. Judy was also a baker and loved to bake cakes and also liked being a host. She enjoyed going to church and loved her church family. Judy was a member of Old Fort Wesleyan Church. She could bring a smile to anyone's face and had a knack for making people laugh. Her most treasured time was spent babysitting her grandson, Myles, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Ashleigh George (Terrance), her sister, Margie Massingill (Donnie), brother-in-law Harold Grindstaff, a grandson who was her pride and joy Myles-Luther George, and extended family Elaine Jones.

At Judy's request, no services will be held.
