Joy Ledford

Joy Ledford, age 82, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 with her family by her side at St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville.  Born on August 11, 1934 in Rutherford County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Belva Rector.

A faithful and loving mother, grandmother and sister, Joy enjoyed canning vegetables, fishing, cooking and camping with her family and friends.

Miss Joy is survived by one son, Allan Ledford and his wife Carolyn, two daughters, Faye Blanton and Kaye Osteen and her husband Keith; one sister, Lou Ledford and her husband Vernon; and three grandchildren.
