Joseph Daniel Radford

Joseph Daniel Radford, affectionately known as Daniel, passed away peacefully at his residence on May 3, 2026. Born on February 5, 1979, in McDowell County, he lived a life marked by dedication, faith, and a deep love for his family. Daniel’s journey was one of hard work and heartfelt devotion, leaving behind a legacy cherished by all who knew him.

A gifted general contractor, Daniel built beautiful homes that stood as a testament to his skill and meticulous craftsmanship. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was a man who loved his Lord deeply and whose sons were the center of his world. His quiet strength and unwavering faith were sources of comfort and inspiration to his family and friends.

An avid hunter and fisherman, Daniel found peace and joy in nature. He especially cherished coon hunting alongside his beloved dog, Bobo, a pastime that reflected his connection to the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life.

Daniel’s memory will be lovingly held by his mother, Rhonda Radford; his sons, Kaiden Radford and Gage Radford; and his sister, Ana Rollins, along with her husband Roger. He was also a cherished uncle to nieces Kimbre and Kaylon, nephew Mason, special great nephew Taryn, and special great nephew Kallum. In addition, many aunts, uncles, and cousins carry his memory in their hearts. He also had many friends who he thought of as family members in West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, George Young Radford, and sister, Sarah Radford.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on May 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory, located at 2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752. This will be followed immediately by a memorial service at the same location from 11:00 a.m. officiated by Reverend T-Jay Addison.

Joseph Daniel Radford’s legacy is one of love, faith, and steadfast commitment to those he held dear. His spirit and presence will be profoundly missed but forever remembered with great respect and affection.
