Joseph A. Eck

     Joseph A. Eck, Sr, entered into rest Saturday, May 9, 2026. He was the husband of the late Carlotta G. Eck of New Park, PA. Mr. Eck was born April 1, 1939 in Lebanon, PA, a son of the late Joseph and Evelyn Eck of Lebanon, PA.

     He worked as a route salesman for Mrs. Smith Pie Company and known by his customers as “Joe the Pie Man”.

     Joe is survived by children: Joseph A. Eck, Jr. of York, PA and Teresa A. Eck Nardontonia, husband of Daniel M. of Nebo, NC; grandchildren Katlin A. Poe Flinchbaugh and husband Shawn of Red Lion, PA; Rachael E. Nardontonia of Englewood, FL; Leah A. Nardontonia of Asheville, NC; and Samantha R. Poe of York, PA.

     He was preceded in death by his wife Carlotta G. Eck in 2023 and daughter, Kathleen M. Eck Poe (husband Kyle R.) in 2018.

     Services will be private at the family's convenience.
