Jorge Octavio Foster

Jorge Octavio Foster, 62, of Nebo, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 in his home.

He was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on July 1, 1961 to the late Marion Foster and Katie Galvan Williams. He was also preceded in death by his dad, Lewis Williams, Sr.

Jorge’s love for his family was unmatched, and he always made them his first priority. He and his wife were together for 41 years and married for 36 of those years. He had a passion for antique cars and for building models. Jorge was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and M.A.S.H. He had a heart for all animals, but especially dogs. Jorge will be remembered for his excellent cooking and baking skills and his sense of humor. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is survived by his wife, Harriet Hasselbach Foster; two children, Alexandra B. Foster and Jorge O. Foster, II (Hannah); grandson, Owen Foster and another grandson on the way; siblings, Janet Foster, Manuel Williams and his children, Devon and Cole, Susan Schramski (Michael) and their son, William (Carol) and their five children, James Williams (Leigh) and their daughter, Kelsey, Kay Bloomquist and her son, Zachary, and Lewis Williams, Jr. (Stephanie) and their children, Avery and Grayson; and a niece, Lisa Melamed (Doug) and their children, Nicholas and Abigail.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
