Jonathon Ray Hipp

Jonathon Ray Hipp, 35, of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, passed away Friday, August 05, 2022.

A native of Rutherfordton, Jonathon was born on February 25, 1987 to Alissa Nelon Hipp and the late Albert Ray Hipp.

A loving father, son, and brother, Jonathon’s family was his world. He will be remembered as having the biggest heart around, and he will be missed by all that knew him.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Nathan Scott Hipp.

He is survived by, along with his mother, two children, Cameron and Benjamin Douglas Hipp; four brothers, Christopher Ray Hipp, Jason Darrell Hipp, Dusty Ray Hipp, and Douglas Ryan Hipp (Amanda Rogers); and his maternal Nanny, Jackie Upton.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Little White Country Church in Gilkey. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
