Rev. Johnny Linton Trumble

Rev. Johnny Linton Trumble, 49, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, September 01, 2021 at Mission Hospital McDowell.

He was born in Burke County on June 13, 1972 to Molly Crisp Davis and the late Leonard Linton Trumble. He is also preceded in death by a stepchild, Shawn Williams.

Johnny worked in construction most of his life. He had a love for the outdoors- especially fishing, shooting guns, riding boats, and having cook outs with family and friends. He enjoyed his work as an assistant pastor with the Rev. Gary Branch. He also had a passion for singing for the Lord in the group, Warriors for Christ. He will be remembered for his great love for serving the Lord.

In addition to his mother, Molly Davis, he is survived by his son, Patrick Trumble (Candace Gouge); two stepchildren, Jonathan Williams and Shonthea Williams; six grandchildren, Payton Lawrence, Lindsey Maynor, Ciera Lawrence, Bentley Lawrence, Ainsley Williams, and Delilah Williams; three siblings, Teresa Mace, Michael Trumble, and Saxton Trumble; five nieces and nephews, Betty Ann Mace, Jamie Lynn Mace, Kelsey Trumble, Ashley Trumble, Jessie Trumble; and several cousins and other extended family members.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 04, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Beam Funeral Service with Rev. Jonathan Watson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at McDowell Memorial Park.
