Johnathon Scott Geouge, Sr., 52, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Mission Hospital in Asheville surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Spruce Pine on October 22, 1972 to Loretta Letterman Huskins and the late William Floyd Geouge.
Known as a true jack of all trades, Scott was formerly employed as a CNC Programmer. He had skills for a number of different trades, and he loved cars and riding his motorcycle. Scott was a proud Mason and was a member of Joppa Lodge #401 in Old Fort. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a very loving and compassionate man. He also had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to joke around. He will be deeply missed.
In addition to his mother, Loretta Huskins (Kenneth), he is survived by his wife, Betty Geouge; his children, AJ Murray (Alex), Anissa Yaccarino (Tony), Brianna Barrier, Johnathon Geouge, Jr., Caleb Leon Stroupe, Destiny Geouge (Zane), Micheal Cleveland, and Harleigh Cleveland; five grandchildren, Kipling Ludy, Ava Barrier, Tate Murray, Kaeson Stroupe, Brixton Stroupe; and four sisters, Valerie Wilson, Myra Carlton (Chris), Marsha Burleson, and Caroline Stacy.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Pastor Kagan Young officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
