John Nicholas Tarantino

     John Nicholas Tarantino, 62, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville.

     John was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 3, 1961, to the late Louis John Tarantino and Leona Schade Tarantino. John was a strong Sicilian man who loved the outdoors and playing golf. He loved his family more than anything and was always there for every event. He was a very kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed.

     In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a brother, Frankie Tarantino.

     He is survived by three brothers, Tommy, Joey, and Louis Tarantino; a sister, Sheryl Tarantino; four grandchildren, Amanda Hester (Corbin), Travis Seals, Brianna Schiller, and Kyle Greer; and two great grandchildren, Elijah Caswell and Declan Hester.

     A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
