John William Russell, 53, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on September 25, 2022.
He was born in Buncombe County on March 26, 1969 to the late Jack Wayne Russell and the late Joan Wilson Jones.
John had a lifelong love of fishing with his friends and family. He loved his work serving intellectual/developmentally disabled men and women. John was a giving caretaker for his father during his last years.
He is survived by his sister, Vicky Clark (Tim), and his brothers, Tommy Russell (Cheryl), and Archie Russell as well as his numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with his wishes no services are planned.
